The debate over who is the best rapper of all time has been going on for several decades - but when a rap giant like Eminem comes out on the subject, hip-hop fans tend to listen.

Last Saturday night, the multi-diamond rapper decided to reply to a Twitter post from NoLifeShaq asking the perennial question, "Who is the best rapper of all time?" The idea was that fans would have 30 different rappers - including Eminem, Joyner Lucas, Hopsin, Lil Tjay and others - apply with a DM to enable a ranking.

To NoLifeShaq's surprise, he got an answer from the one and only Slim Shady. About two hours after the post was posted, Eminem listed the following rappers: Lil Wayne, 2Pac, Royce Da 5’9, JAY-Z, Redman, Naughty By Nature’s Treach, Kool G Rap, The Notorious B.I.G. and KXNG Crooked - his top G.O.A.T.selection. In response to NoLifeShaq's tweet, Eminem wrote, "To me, in no particular order, it's something like the following rappers: Wayne, Pac, Royce, Jay, Redman, Treach, G. Rap, Biggie and King Crook."

Eminem's tweet follows his “Q&A” livestream, which was used to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Marshall Mathers LP. During his time on live chat, Slim Shady revealed who he thinks is the most underrated rapper of all time - his answer: KXNG Crooked.

It didn't take long for rapper KXNG Crooked to respond to Eminem's statement: “It means a lot to me, especially when it's from someone like him. I am very grateful to him for the positive statements about me in public, because he shouldn't have done it. Thank you for letting me see the live stream - I have to thank him from the bottom of my heart. "
