Who is Deathstroke's archenemy

"Titans": This actor becomes Deathstroke in Season 2

The antihero series "Titans" has one more villain. Deathstroke, the most relentless contract killer in the DC universe, will make life difficult for Dick Grayson and Co. in season 2 - and now we also know who will embody the archenemy of the Titans.

Esai Morales is allowed to play the nasty fan favorite Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke in the upcoming season of "Titans". Deadline now knew this news. Morales is an American character actor best known for his roles in the 1980s drama "La Bamba" and TV series such as "Miami Vice" and Netflix's "Ozark". Now he becomes a merciless assassin for DC.

Already the third live action version of Deathstroke

This makes Esai Morales the third actor who is allowed to slip into the role of the infamous killer. The first was Manu Bennett, who played the super villain or antihero in the CW series "Arrow".

In the DC Extended Universe, the cinema universe of the comic giant, fans were also able to take a quick look at Deathstroke number two, Joe Manganiello, in the post-credit scene of "Justice League". The latter should actually play a bigger part in the upcoming "The Batman". Then it was said that Manganiello's contract killer was getting a solo film - but that too is pending.

Instead, fans will now see another TV deathstroke in Morales.

This is what "Titans" is about

"Titans" tells the adventures of a group of superheroes and antiheroes, respectively, led by Batman's former sidekick Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites). Other members of the motley quartet are the alien Starfire (Anna Diop), the half-demon Raven (Teagan Croft) and the shapeshifter Beast Boy (Ryan Potter).

Season 2 of the DC series is scheduled to start in the USA in 2019 on the DC streaming service DC Universe. In this country, the new episodes should then be seen again on Netflix.
