A.2.5 In which countries is there insurance coverage? You have comprehensive insurance coverage within the geographical borders of Europe as well as the non-European areas that belong to the scope of the European Union. A.2.6 What do we pay in the event of total write-off, destruction or loss? Replacement value less residual value A In the event of total write-off, destruction or loss of the vehicle or its parts, we will pay the replacement value less any existing residual value of the vehicle or its parts. If glass breakage has also occurred in the event of a total loss or destruction of the vehicle, we will reimburse the replacement value (current value) of the glass parts if only partial comprehensive insurance is in place. If you have your vehicle repaired in spite of a total loss or destruction, the following applies: A compensation for the new price in the event of total loss, destruction or loss B FZ 1 () F1P217 X A.2.3 Which events are fully insured? Insurance cover exists in the event of damage, destruction or loss of the vehicle, including its co-insured parts, as a result of the following events: Events of partial coverage A Accident A Insured are the damage events of partial coverage according to A.2.2. Vehicle accidents are insured. An accident is an event that suddenly acts on the vehicle with mechanical force from the outside. Damage caused by a braking or operating process or pure breakage are not deemed to be accidental damage. These include B. Damage to the vehicle due to a sliding load or wear and tear, torsion damage, damage due to operating errors or overloading of the vehicle and damage between pulling and pulled vehicle without external influence. Willful or malicious acts A The insurance covers willful or malicious acts by persons who are in no way authorized to use the vehicle. In particular, persons who have been commissioned by the person authorized to take care of the vehicle (e.g. repairers, hotel employees) are to be regarded as authorized. A A For cars, we pay the new price of the vehicle in accordance with A.2.12 if a total loss, destruction or loss occurs within 6 months of its first registration. We will also reimburse the new price if the necessary repair costs amount to at least 80 percent of the new price in the event of damage within 6 months of the initial registration. The prerequisite is that the vehicle, when the damaging event occurs, is the property of the person who acquired it as a new vehicle from the vehicle dealer or vehicle manufacturer. Any remaining value of the vehicle will be deducted. If your vehicle has previous unrepaired damage, we will deduct the necessary repair costs from the reimbursement. We will only pay the new price compensation in excess of the replacement value to the extent that the compensation is used for the repair of the vehicle or the acquisition of another vehicle within one year of its determination. You must provide proof of this by submitting a corresponding repair or purchase contract. New registration after total write-off, destruction or loss A In the event of total write-off, destruction or loss of the vehicle, we assume the proven costs of registration and registration of the vehicle that is then newly insured with us, up to a maximum of 150 euros. Page 7 of 45

8 Disposal / recycling of leftovers after total loss A If you settle a total loss through us, we will cover the documented costs for the disposal or recycling of the leftovers of the vehicle up to an amount of 500 euros, provided that the following vehicle is insured with us. What do you mean by total loss, replacement value and residual value? A A A A.2.7 A total loss exists if the costs required to repair the vehicle exceed its replacement value. Replacement value is the price you have to pay to buy an equivalent used vehicle on the day of the damaging event. Residual value is the realizable value of the vehicle in a damaged or destroyed condition. What do we pay in the GAP insurance? The provisions of comprehensive insurance apply to GAP insurance. A A If the leasing contract for your car is terminated prematurely due to a total write-off, loss or destruction, in addition to the replacement value, we will also reimburse the difference resulting from the higher remaining lease claim for the insured vehicle without interest. The replacement service is limited to the new price of your vehicle. The amount of the discounted remaining lease receivable results from the remaining leasing installments and any residual value of the vehicle agreed in the leasing contract. In the case of credit-financed cars, we will reimburse the difference between the remaining financing amount and the replacement value minus any existing residual value. The remaining financing amount is the amount to be paid to the bank in the event of premature, damage-related termination of the loan agreement. The replacement service is limited to the new price of the vehicle. The amount is reduced by the interest advantage that the lender gains from the early satisfaction of the loan agreement. The loan must demonstrably have been taken out solely to finance the vehicle. New deduction for old A A A.2.9. The towing costs are offset against the upper limits according to A. If old parts are exchanged for new parts during repairs or the vehicle is completely or partially repainted, we will deduct an amount corresponding to the age and wear and tear of the old parts (new for old) from the cost of the spare parts and the painting. The following applies to motorcycles, cars, trikes and quads: Until the end of the fourth calendar year from the first registration, the deduction is only made on tires, batteries and paintwork. For all other vehicles, this deduction is limited until the end of the third calendar year following the vehicle's first registration. For comprehensive insurance with workshop binding, the provisions of comprehensive insurance apply, unless otherwise agreed in the following paragraphs: After a vehicle damage, we select the workshop in which your car can be repaired and replace the vehicle repair. For this it is necessary that you contact us in good time. If you have your car repaired in another workshop not selected by us, you will receive 85 percent of the reimbursable costs actually incurred. If the vehicle is not repaired, not completely repaired or not repaired professionally, we will pay the reimbursable restoration costs (excluding VAT) that would have been incurred if the repair were carried out in a partner workshop selected by us. In the event of a total write-off, the full reimbursement will be made in accordance with A b). The regulations apply to cases of damage in Germany in which your car or the parts that are also insured are damaged. We do the same if the accident occurred abroad and you then have your vehicle repaired in Germany. This applies accordingly to the destruction or loss of co-insured parts. Experts' costs We will only reimburse the costs of an expert if we have commissioned or approved them. B FZ 1 () F1P218 X A.2.8 Repair A Towing A What do we pay in the event of damage without / with an agreed workshop commitment? If the vehicle is damaged, we will pay the costs required for the repair up to the following upper limits: a) If you provide evidence of the complete and professional repair of the vehicle, we will pay the necessary costs up to the amount of the replacement value according to A If this evidence is missing, we will pay later A b). b) If the vehicle is not repaired, not completely repaired or not repaired professionally, we will pay the necessary costs of a complete repair up to the amount of the replacement value less the residual value (see A and A.2.6.8). In the event of damage to the vehicle, we will reimburse the costs for towing it from the place of damage to the nearest workshop suitable for repairs, unless a third party is obliged to pay the costs to you A.2.10 VAT within the limits set out in A.2.6 or A.2.8 We will only reimburse the VAT if and to the extent that this has actually been incurred for the specific type of claims settlement. We do not reimburse VAT if there is an entitlement to deduct input tax. A.2.11 Additional regulations in the event of theft Re-locating the vehicle A If the vehicle is found again within one month of receipt of the notification of damage and you can take possession of the vehicle again within this period with objectively reasonable efforts, you are obliged to take back the vehicle. A If the vehicle is found at a distance of more than 50 km (as the crow flies) from its regular location, we will pay the cost of a 2nd class train ticket for a return trip up to a maximum distance of km (train kilometers) from regular location of the vehicle to the location. Page 8 of 45

9 Transfer of ownership after theft A If you are not obliged to take back the vehicle according to A, we will become its owner. A If we have reduced the insurance benefit due to a breach of duty (e.g. in accordance with D.1, E.1 or E.3) and the vehicle is found again, the following applies: You are entitled to a share of the realizable sales proceeds after deduction of the necessary costs that arose in connection with the collection and recovery. The proportion corresponds to the quota by which we have reduced your compensation. A.2.12 Up to what amount do we pay (maximum compensation)? Our maximum compensation is limited to the new price of the vehicle. The new price is the amount that has to be spent on the purchase of a new vehicle with the same equipment as the insured vehicle or - if the type of the insured vehicle is no longer manufactured - a comparable successor model on the day of the damaging event. Decisive for the purchase price is the manufacturer's non-binding recommendation minus customary local and market discounts. A.2.13 Deductible If a deductible has been agreed, this will be deducted from the compensation for each damaging event. You can see from your insurance policy the amount of the deductible that you have agreed to. If stone chip damage to the windshield is repaired (not by replacing the windshield) in a partner workshop selected by us, we will reimburse the repair costs without deducting an agreed deductible. A.2.14 What we do not replace and information on the whereabouts of leftover and old parts What we do not replace A We do not pay for changes, improvements and wear repairs. Consequential damage, such as loss of fuel and operating resources (e.g. oil, coolant), depreciation, registration costs, transportation costs, administrative costs, loss of use or the cost of a rental vehicle, will also not be compensated. Notes on the whereabouts of remaining and old parts A Remaining and old parts as well as the unrepaired vehicle will remain with you and will be offset against the compensation based on the realizable value. A.2.15 Due date of our payment, assignment A As soon as we have determined our payment obligation and the amount of the compensation, we will pay this within two weeks at the latest. A If we have determined that we are obliged to pay, but the amount of the compensation cannot be determined within one month of the claim being reported, you can request an appropriate advance payment for the compensation.
